Do You Need Credentials To Claim a Credit Using The USSD Code?

Oh yes, you will need to hold certain documents to access certain mortgages using the quick code. If you are requesting an instant credit from private lenders that you do not hold an account with them, you will be demanded to provide your full name, BVN number, address, bank account, and other relevant documents.

For banks and network providers with which you already have an account, you do not need to provide supporting documentation. Just register to begin lending. Don’t worry; the enrollment process is not long, so it won’t take a lot of your time.

Procedures to Request a Loan Using the USSD Code

As mentioned above, getting a mortgage using the quick code is fairly straightforward. But before you start the process, you must do some digging into the lender. Know the credit profit rate, the repayment period, cash cap, and terms. When you have finished the research and are certified with their conditions, you can start the process.

Use your favorite lender’s USSD code and register first. Remember that if you request a mortgage from the bank or network provider, you do not need to register. You only enroll if you are requesting a loan from microfinance or other lenders.

Now, follow the command prompt that will appear on your screen. Instructions can vary depending on which lender you are applying to, so take note.

After following the command prompt, you wait for the approval. This will take some minutes, so exercise patience.

In case of success, you will receive an instant credit alert. But some lenders like the bank will require you to go to the bank and get your loan back, but that’s not often though.

Is the USSD Code Service for Free?
